In order to satisfy customers who are reaching for organic products, Mlekarna Planika certified its own organic estate, Bogata in Bovec, with approximately 130 dairy cows. This way, we have enriched our range of products with organic milk containing 3.5% milk fat. Milk is produced according to strict organic criteria, which undoubtedly influence the excellent taste and quality of the finished product.
Milk is partially skimmed to 3.5% milk fat. The shelf life of the milk is 8 days at an uninterrupted cold chain below 6 °C.
Milk is pasteurized at 72 °C. Since milk is pasteurized, it is not necessary to boil it before use.
Organic milk is filled to 1 litre PET bottles.
